- ANSWERS MUST NOT START  ‘ BECAUSE’.
-ANSWERS MUST BE COMPLETE IN ALL SENSE.
-AVOID USING SHORT FORMS.
        3. SPELLING NEEDS ATTENTION.
        4.FRAME SENTENCES USING THE WORD GIVEN  MAKING COMPLETE SENSE.
        5.CORRECTIONS TO BE DONE SO THAT  THE CHILD IS AWARE OF HIS MISTAKE.

PROJECTS AND ACTIVITY BASED SUBMISSIONS ARE ALREADY COLLECTED FOR EVALUATIONS BUT I HAVE TWO OR THREE STUDENTS WHO  HAVE NOT SUBMITTED THEIR WORK. PARENTS DO CHECK WITH YOUR CHILD WITH REGARDS TO THESE SUBMISSIONS .
C. ENGLISH NOTEBOOK CHECKING
ENGLISH NOTEBOOK CHECKING FOR COMPLETION OF ALL SUMMATIVE CHAPTERS WILL BEGIN FROM  28/9/2015.
D. FORMATIVE EVALUATIONS
THE FORMATIVE EVALUATION IS ALREADY IN PROGRESS .
PLEASE SEE THAT YOUR CHILD  ATTENDS SCHOOL REGULARLY SO THAT HE DOES NOT MISS ON ANY  EVALUATIONS.

NOUN GENDER

Nouns can be classified into four genders:
1. MASCULINE GENDER :
A noun that denotes a male member (person or animal) is called masculine gender noun.

Eg:  1) Master your word is my command.
       2) The lion is the king of the jungle.


2. FEMININE GENDER :
A noun that denotes a female member (person or animal) is called Feminine gender noun.
          Eg:  1) The bride looked very beautiful.
                  2) The heifer is grazing in the field.


3. COMMON GENDER :
A noun that could denote either male or a female is called common gender noun.

Eg:  1) The student has submitted his projects.
      2) Parents often make sacrifices for their                       children.


4. NEUTER GENDER: A noun that is the name of a thing that is neither male nor female   and which is inanimate (lifeless) is in the neuter gender.

Eg:  1) Everest is the highest mountain in the world.
      2) We saw the match on the television.

There are different ways of forming the feminine gender.
